Mallu

Learning native language is a rarity nowadays. it is a trend to speak in the English language alone and most of the English medium schools make it mandatory to speak in English. This is to improve the standard of English among students .it is true that it helps the children to expand their horizons and to build a career befitting their Aspirations.  Even I am a product of English Medium Education.its because it is an international language and  official language of India. The Regional language is ignored to a large extent and only a few are trying to learn it in depth. its confined to certain people because of few career prospects  Government has realized this drawback and  made it as a prime Language.

Passenger

Life of Railway Porters and Tea vendors is something for us to ponder. They must have seen many celebrities and people from all walks of life during their service in the platform. They live in the same town and would have undergone many Ups and Downs. They still maintain their persona and remain courteous. In our fast-paced life, their simplicity often reminds us that life is a great leveller and someday we might have to return to our roots

Secular ?

Secularism is something that binds India all along through these seventy-odd years. When India was divided on the basis of religion and a Muslim country was born as Pakistan, India chose to be secular considering a large number of minorities in this nation. All political parties steadfastly follow secular traditions and heed to the interests of the minorities which often strays to appeasement. The right-wing parties vociferously campaigned for a change and regained power in spite of simmering discontent among minorities. They had faith only in secular parties due to various incidents happened in this nation. The left was staunch in their secular stand but they alone cannot come to power due to scant representation. Now its time for Continuity and let's see whether the right-wing parties can hold on to power protecting the interests of All.

Ladder

"Aptitude determines your Altitude"

During our childhood days, our ambitions would associate usually with Conventional careers like Pilot, Doctor, Engineer or an Advocate. Even our parents would admonish us to choose a career that befits their Social standing. Most of us may oblige to their interests but some like me being a rebel strayed from the usual path and took a more convenient career which involves leisure time and less mugging up. Hence my chosen path did not take me to a lucrative profession but a more noble career that involves sociology and political interests. I still admire those who have attained many materialistic goals and that's the way to stay...

Creamy layer !!!

Caste-based reservation in government jobs has been prevalent since Independence. Ambedkar the great social reformer was the chief architect. This has seriously helped the people of lower castes to come up and lead a decent life. They were doing scavenging and other jobs till then. Reservation emancipated them and instilled confidence to play a vital role in the functioning of the government. They were uplifted from poverty and backwardness. Now there's a contention to this by the people of forward community stating that their rights were ripped off by this reservation. They demand the abolition of reservation based on caste and wants meritocracy in place. Traditionally people from grassroots level are less intelligent because of the poor standard of education and don't have the wherewithal to equip themselves with knowledge enhancing measures.people of upper strata can always have other options hence I believe reservation should continue for some more years.

Queer life !!!

God has created man and woman.he has also created a third gender. They are often called transgenders .when we enjoy the fruits of life in society we often neglect transgenders and their life.theres is a stigma in the society against them. Many of them are forced to live in ghettoes and often resort to begging for a living.it is laudable that now the government of india has recognized their plight and consider them as third gender and very soon we can see them as a part of mainstream society. Traditionally they are mostly found in Northern Provinces of India and are revered as divine by the people there.since they are few in number their voice may not be heard and   that doesn't mean they should be sidelined.

Modern ?

Youngsters who are educated adopt Modern lifestyle whereas others live Traditional life. I am a Mixture of both Traditional when it comes to religion like visiting religious places like temple since I am a Hindu .but I like positivity and I am living a modern lifestyle now though all my eating habits are mostly Desi. Human Endeavor can make one successful provided one has the blessings of God.
I welcome all progressive things and I believe in action.

Positive change !!!

it's true that change happens every time. I was a staunch leftist and always stood by poor people and hoped for their well being. I still do...Over the period of time, things have changed and I started developing a liking to the affluent people and their lifestyle. Rather I would say that I have become more nationalistic in my approach and seriously wished a Rightwing government at the center.it happened when BJP led National Democratic Alliance came to power. People became fed up of Congress rule which was full of nepotism, appeasement and rampant corruption. Now I pinned my hopes on Modi led government and anxiously waiting for more populist measures from him.RSS (Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh ) now got a chance to play a stellar role in shaping the policies of this government which would be more nationalistic and people friendly without hampering the secular fabric of this great nation.

Spare a thought !!!

While we enjoy the fruits of life we often tend to forget the destitute, downtrodden, and autistic people .we should spare a thought for them at least by extending a helping hand to these people. Most of us who are in a comfort zone think only about us and our dear ones. we pray to God as if God is concerned only about us and often ignore Poor. I believe God doesn't have any partiality in the matter of humanity and cannot side with rich and well off people when there are lots of poor, handicapped, and differently-abled people live in this world. if God has created everyone differently its Our duty to extend a helping hand to the needy and don't leave this to destiny!!!

Money

Money - Is it the only panacea to all miseries? ..People do various work to earn a livelihood .The rich splurge on their wealth while the poor leads a sedate life .Rich people do business and employ poor people so that they can earn a living. The disparity though creates division among the people and leads to Anarchy.Money alone is not the criteria for good life. One should have good family relationship to enjoy life. As they say money would come and go and wont always favour one person and will come to everybody's life in one way or other.

Its My Right !!!
