United States had earlier sought help of Taliban to oust Najibullah government in1991 when Soviet troops were present in the region.he was eventually hanged to death by Taliban.This is the first time Taliban has total control of the affairs in Afghanistan and is on the threshold of  forming a government on it's own.United States couldn't afford to lose their men and further bloodshed which exacerbated the troops withdrawal before 9/11. Taliban is cultural militant organisation of Afganistan unlike terrorist outfits like JeM (jaish e Mohamned)and Lashkar e-Taiba (LeT) which has presence in neighbouring  Pakistan and other Islamic countries.

Anti incumbency factor  didn't influenced voters in Kerala this time..Infact this is a historic win for Left Democratic Front as they retain power for a second term under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
