SIEGE

We are witnessing a unexpected and sudden churn of events in Afghanistan so far under the control of government forces recognised by International Community though they don't have full fledged governing force to sustain their rule independently without the help of 

U. S. Troops. Being a peacemonger United States under the new democratic government of Biden couldn't ignore the marauding group of Taliban fighters who are formidable enough to provide an alternate rule under the new leadership who seems to be wary of International pressure in shedding it's Hardline ideology  Sharia law which is their Hallmark . United States had earlier sought help of Taliban to oust Najibullah government in1991 when Soviet troops were present in the region.he was eventually hanged to death by Taliban.This is the first time Taliban has total control of the affairs in Afghanistan and is on the threshold of  forming a government on it's own.United States couldn't afford to lose their men and further bloodshed which exacerbated the troops withdrawal before 9/11. Taliban is cultural militant organisation of Afganistan unlike terrorist outfits like JeM (jaish e Mohamned)and Lashkar e-Taiba (LeT) which has presence in neighbouring  Pakistan and other Islamic countries.
