The elections which decide the fate of four states and one union territory is underway and the first phase is over .The people of two states Kerala and Assam and union territory Puducerry cast their ballot. THe second phase is scheduled to happen on 23rd of April 2026 in which Tamil Nadu West Bengal go to polls. The members of Incumbent Legislative Assembly will be reinstated with new incumbents or whether they will contnue is what to be seen and the all five governments will face the verdict on the basis of the franchise exercised by the voters of the respevctive states and UT.whether its for a change (poribartan)Anti-Incumbency or for the pursuance of the sustainable development agenda by the incumbent governments come on top will be known by May 4th 2026 on the counting day. we have witnessed the change in th eworld politics through ballot in the US presidential Elections 2008 where Barack Obama coined the Election Slogan :"Be the Change " and it happened with his election to the the worlds most coveted post of the President of the United States [POTUS] since its the oldest Democracty and still believe in peoples democracy. And in India similar incident had happened with the popular " PORIBARTAN " slogan by Trinamool Congresss headed by Mamata Banerjee against the 34 year old communist regime led by Budda deb bhattacharjee who was the last incumbent chief minister of the communist marxist party of India [CPM} .it ushered in a new Era of Market Friendly Governments who gave impetus to the Indigenous development subsequently paved way for the rise of Nationalist government led by BJP Bharatiya Janata Party and Narendra Damodar Das Modi a popular chief minister of Gujarat and the coalition NDA - National Democratic Alliance dethroning the corrupted congress led [UPA- United Progressive Alliance] led by the technocrat Dr.Manmohan Singh and ushered in " Hindutva" in our polity and now we march towards self reliance Atmanirbharta-"आत्मनिर्भरता " and also the advent of non -communist regime in West Bengal under the leadership of DIDI as Mamata Banerjee is 's popularly known in political circles.Her steadfaast policies which is more inclusive of bengalis irrespective of Ideology unlike the rigid communist regime which people felt mundane and obsolete.
