Vasishta the sage born from Brahma’s macrocosm and regardes as his supreme son. Vasishta a handsome hermit indulged in meditation for eons. During that period a girl child was born not from copulation but from Brahma’s orgasmic mood.She became an attractive damsel endearing to all. She was named Sandhya. Creators in heaven were spellbound by her beauty and her father Brahma had an incestuous lust towards her.She despised the carnal desire in her which evoked lust in her father and brothers as the reason for her subjugation where the body got prominence over her mind. She decided to give up her body and went for penance on the banks of the Chandrabagha River Vashista in the form of a child accompanied her to the river and advised the way of penance.she stood on one leg with hands folded upward and eyes focusing on the tip of the nose with mind devoted to vishnupada (Foot of Lord Vishnu).Her meditation reverberated in all three worlds of Kailasa, SathyaLoka and palazhi {Abodes of Trinity lord Shiva, Brahma and Mahavishnu}Mahavishnu on his mount Garuda appeared before her and asked her to request a boon. it was like this “The organisms should not engage in sensual desires in childhood.lust should happen only in adulthood.She wants to be a loyal wife to her husband and no other person should look at her lustfully and if he does he should become an eunuch. Mahavishnu granted her this boon on the condition that she has to douse in the fire in a Mahayaga on the banks of Chandrabagha River conducted by sage Medhathidi son of Priyavratha to prove her chastity and she will be reborn as a daughter of Medhathidhi after the yaga.Lord touched her with his fingertip and immediately she attained an aura that instigated her to give up her life by plunging into the fire. She was charred to death and her body was accepted by Agnidevan the God of Fire and handed over to the suryadevan the sun god who cut her into two parts which eventually became Dawn and Dusk followed by her reincarnation as Arundathi.

Being a largest democracy India can imbibe many qualities from the oldest democracy..India now a fastest growing economy has many things to offer to the united states of america as well. United States has ratified that India has done a great deal in women empowerment .The Bonhomie was palpable in the meeting followed by some important business deals. India’s semiconductor sector got a fillip as well as our space Industry .India would be the base for manufacturing components of fighter jets.India has agreed to sign the Artemis Accords for space research collaboration that can unshackle many possibilities.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan Born on February 26 1954 re-elected as Turkiye [Turkey] President in a tightly contested Election securing 52.2% votes against Kemal Kilicdaroglu led opposition alliance who secured 47.8% in a runoff election held on Sunday .The run-off was needed because in the first round no one has attained clear majority of 50%  .Erdogan’s AKP had secured 323 Seats out of 600 seats in the parliament .This can be described as Historic victory as Erdogan’s conservative policies got upper hand  against a more liberal Six party opposition led by Kemal Kilicdaroglu .

The Turkish president’s long road to political dominance began with his election as Istanbul Mayor in 1994 .The Secularist Elite who at that time dominated Turkey’s politics and feared the rise of Erdogan’s religious conservatism banned him from politics through a court decision that saw him imprisoned for four months over inciting religious hatred in a speech. This sentence in fact only bolstered Erdogans support with thousands of his supporters taking to the streets in protest. Erdogan has changed the Turkish republic to Islamic nation from Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who had converted mosques to museums during his reign. He formed justice and development party AKP  and went on to become the prime minister and later president .His regime allowed women to wear scarves and to flaunt Islamic symbols in public .In spite of natural calamities like earthquake which ravaged turkey and rising inflation people restored faith in Erdogan. He was at the helm for the past twenty years and he got mandate for another five years and since he took over turkey has grown as a nation. In a polarised verdict Islamic nationalism is going to stay in turkey and Erdogan stated that it’s a victory of their Democracy.  Erdogan was a former professional football player The significance of this victory is that it happened  in the 100th year of the abolition of  Ottoman caliphate .

Assembly elections in the north east states of Tripura ,Meghalaya and Nagaland  witnessed a resurgent Bharatiya Janata party in Tripura and Nagaland and retained its seats in Meghalaya.In all these states the voter turnout above 80% is a testimony of our electoral democracy.North East Democratic Alliance headed by BJP has won more seats and their allies made considerable gains .Manik saha and Conrad Sangma the incumbent chief ministers of Tripura and Meghalaya respectively got the mandate to pursue their policies .Infact the main factor of Bharatiya Janata party’s win is the reflection of peoples confidence in their welfare policies.with this election the countdown to the national elections in 2024 begins .The welfare policies like ujjwala and jan dhan  of the center materialised the dreams of the people and consolidated their faith in the BJP.the north east region was deprived of development and now the development policies of the government were of great help in the upliftment of these states and this result is a resonance of the nation’s aspirations.This victory augurs well for Bharatiya janata party to go ahead with the Agenda “sabka saath sabka vikas “and act east policy.it also shows that as a national political party BJP has presence all over India.

Tyre Nichols killing in Memphis, Tennessee is yet another incident of police highhandedness in a short span of time .Earlier George Floyd was strangled to death by policeman Derek Chauvin while on patrol. This killing triggered a huge upheaval since the victim was a Black American and  instigated the campaign “Black Lives Matter“ which ended up in the regime change. Tyre Nichols was brutally attacked by the five policemen belonging to scorpion unit while on patrol and he died after few days of the incident The provocation to this police action is unknown but this time there is no racial prejudice since five of them belonged to african american race and the victim Tyre Nichols too.The Scorpion unit of Memphis police was disbanded and case is under investigation and the truth will be unearthed soon. This is a blot to the police force of the United States of America which otherwise uphold great moral values and regarded as a paragon in protecting lives .President Joe Biden condemned the killing.

In a landmark judgement Supreme Court validated the Demonetisation by Narendra Modi government after six years.They found that there’s no illegality in the act though it’s was a political decision. Infact it was a phenomenal decision by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who announced demonetisation to come into effect abruptly considering the money laundering activities and counterfeit currency circulation and with an intention to cleanse the economy. Only a strong leader like Narendra modi can take this decision and this has curtailed the hawala trade to a large extent and also the influx of black money into the system.since demonetisation heralded new payment system and our economy has become cashless to a large extent and the ease of doing transactions by using one’s mobile phone has revolutionised Indian economy and paved way for many small and medium businesses strengthening the Indian economy. it’s great to see supreme court upheld demonetisation as its evident it has not done any harm to the economy though it wasn’t mooted by reserve bank of india but a bold political move to cleanse the system.

We witnessed a great festival of football in Qatar in the last four weeks .Contrary to the perception Qatar emerged as a great host.This is first time in the history of FIFA worldcup that a west asian country becomes a host. They organised matches with élan and aplomb in the eight spectacular stadiums. Euphoria of being in Qatar propelled Asian teams to the round of 16. worldcup was also a revelation of the progress these nations made to be on par with other giants. Football being a global sport drew crowds from all over the world to the stadiums and to live telecast . VAR -[Video assistant referee] is the new inclusion of the tournament and was of great help to referees who control the game where they corrected many decisions .women referee were also introduced in a match .Messi emerged as a captain who completed 1000 matches of his career. His sheer genius took Argentina to a memorable worldcup victory since 1986 an elusive feat for him thus far. Argentina a global favourite rose to the expectations of their fans despite losing to Saudi Arabia in the group match. Lionel Messi becomes one of the greatest footballers of all time.Kylian Mbappe couldn’t take france to victory this time despite scoring hattrick in the final .he was the topscorer of the worldcup and won the golden boot.

iI would like to express my take on the present debate on whether hindi should be made official language in the states where English is the current official language.Hindi being a national language “Rashtra Bhasha” and a medium used in office and school curriculum in multiple states and widely spoken throughout India one will feel at home when you travel anywhere in India other than your Home state.In kerala our aspirations were oriented towards foreign land hence we mug up English to be competent enough to grab oppurtunities in the profession and other artistic fiefdoms.now with the Bharatiya janata party assuming power serious efforts are made to create oppurtunities inland where hindi would come in handy apart from one’s regional language.Hindi helps to integrate the nation as many people leave their home towns to other states in search of greener pastures.we accommodate them gleefully without any discrimination.hindi helps us to communicate effectively with them inorder to make them comfortable to carry out their duties.He or She might know only hindi As a student, I was initiated to the hindi language at a very young age since i studied in a syllabus which comes under [ CBSE central board of secondary education.] at lower primary school. Moreover, I developed a liking for hindi by watching hindi movies which is popular in our city.Even when I was working in other south Indian states Hindi helped me immensely to communicate with drivers and local people.central government offices display a whiteboard where one hindi word and its meaning is given everday inorder to get familiarised with certain words commonly used in correspondence and official matters.we should give hindi a special affection and should not see it as imposing on us.

Mikhail Gorbechev’s demise at the age of 91 and subsequent reports changed my perception about this leader.Ascended to the soviet union’s presidency in1985 when cold war was on between the two super powers USA and USSR [union of soviet socialist republic]..As all communists believe the saddest part of the history was unfolded during his tenure .his reformist measures perestroika [reconstruction] and Glasnost [openness]didn’t helped soviet union’s aspirations and led to its disintegration later contracted to Commonwealth of Independent states- CIS  with its citadel in Russia under his successor Boris Yeltsin a member of communist party of soviet union [CPSU] who took reins from him to avoid the crisis.Erstwhile soviet union was comprised of 12 republics including Baltic regions and Ukraine. Soviet union was an ally for many third world countries including India .people still gush about its glorious days where the country was prosperous and harmonious .Mikhail gorbachev led to its downfall.The might of soviet union helped them to defeat hitler’s germany in the second world war[ 1945 ]under joseph stalin .On the contrary Gorbachev was hailed as harbinger of peace when he entered into treaty with NATO -north atlantic treaty organisation  for nuclear disarmament and due to his peace initiatives he was later awarded Nobel peace prize.The truce between two nuclear powers brought an end to the arms race and new world order has emerged.

सबाश INDIA 🇮🇳

Its euphoric to see India finish at fourth place in the medals tally with 22 Gold 16 silver and 23 bronze in the games where 43 nations. featured in medals table out of 72 nations  participated . Australia emerged winners with 67 Gold medals leaving hosts England behind in the second place with 57 Gold medals and Canada third with 26 Gold medals in the recently concluded Commonwealth games at Birmingham England .we have seen a spectacular performance from Indian contingent this time particularly in weight lifting and wrestling where Indians won 22 medals in total including the gold of mirabai chanu .Apart from this its exhilarating to see india perform well in Table tennis where Achanta Sharath Kamal won 2 gold medals and in field events Eldhose paul and Abdulla aboobacker won gold and silver respectively in men’s triple jump .In badminton p.v. sindhu and treesa jolly went on to win gold medal alongwith lakshya sen in Men’s singles.common wealth games is a an event second only to olympics .A win here would do a world of good to the sportspersons morale to achieve more as the Olympic motto implies “citius ,altius,fortius”- Faster higher stronger .
